Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Zend. By accessing or using Zend, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zend, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing Zend.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use Zend for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions. Under this license, you may not:

Modify or copy the materials
Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

Subscription Terms

Subscription Plans & Pricing

Zend offers premium subscription services that provide access to advanced features, including unlimited focus schedules, advanced analytics, full meditation library, priority community access, and more.

Monthly Plan: Renews every month. Price is shown in-app and charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
Annual Plan: Renews every year. Price is shown in-app and charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
Any limited-time promotional price or free trial will convert to the standard subscription price shown in-app at the end of the promo/trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
Local currency pricing and applicable taxes are displayed in-app by Apple at checkout.

Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The trial period begins when you start your subscription. You will not be charged during the trial period. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You will be charged the subscription fee to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation & Management

You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time via your Apple ID:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name (Apple ID)
Tap Subscriptions
Select Zend
Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancelling at least 24 hours before the current period ends prevents auto-renewal. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel after the trial or during a paid period, you keep access until the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for the unused portion of the current period unless required by law.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If we change the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at support@zend.now. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased a subscription on another device, you can restore your purchases by tapping "Restore Purchases" in the app. This will restore your subscription to the current device.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
Keep your account information up to date
Maintain the security of your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, post, or share through Zend ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing Zend services.

You agree not to post User Content that:

Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
Infringes on the rights of others (including intellectual property rights)
Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
Is spam, misleading, or fraudulent
Contains personal information of others without consent

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Intellectual Property

The Zend app, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services without our prior written consent.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Zend:

In any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
To transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
To interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
To collect or harvest information about other users
For any commercial purpose without our express written consent

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Zend immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use Zend will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@zend.now.

Disclaimer

Zend is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The app is free of viruses or other harmful components
The results obtained from using the app will be accurate or reliable

Zend is a tool to support your recovery journey, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding addiction or mental health.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of Zend.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of Zend, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms of Service.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Zend after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
